The parts to be adhered must be clean, free from grease and dry.
Apply a thin, even layer of adhesive to just one of the surfaces to be adhered. Apply sufficient pressure to make the connection immediately, in order to ensure complete contact.
On non-polar, difficult-to-bond materials such as POM, TPE, TPO, PE, PP, PTFE and silicone rubber, the best adhesive results are achieved using the primer for superglues. Use the activator to speed up the reaction of superglues. This can usually be used on all kinds of substrates, but please test it beforehand on a concealed section for compatibility.
For bonding plastics to each other
The medium-viscosity cyanoacrylate structural adhesive is characterised by improved impact strength. Good resistance to peeling forces, changes in temperature and humidity are demonstrated. Therefore specifically suited to applications involving changing loads or drop tests.
