Basic engine oil 5W-30 was developed specifically for Audi and VW vehicles with Longlife Service, and can be used almost seamlessly through backwards compatibility (the exception being R5 and V10 TDI engines with DPF prior to CW 22/06). Depending on the manufacturer's specification, oil change intervals of up to 30,000 or 50,000 km or 2 years for occasional drivers can be achieved.
Observe the operating instructions of the vehicle and engine manufacturer. The full efficiency and protection of the diesel particle filter are guaranteed only when oils are not mixed.
