Cut the paper to size and attach to the parts to be protected using masking tape.
Ensure that the paper is attached with the coated side facing upwards. To prevent clear varnishes from penetrating the paper, place a double layer of paper or an extra narrow strip of paper (22 cm) on the painting edge.
