Description
Würth - 1-component synthetic resin primer - High-coverage synthetic resin thick-film primer with excellent application properties and active corrosion protection.

Description:
  • Active protection against corrosion thanks to zinc phosphate

  • Short drying time, high filling power

  • High degree of stability under load

  • Application in thick coats

  • Suitable for electrostatic application

  • Chromate and lead-free

  • Solids content of base material: 73%

  • For indoor and outdoor use

Diluting adjustment 10 - 15% depending on coat thickness.



Application equipment:


Brush, roller or paint gun, minimum nozzle size 1.4 mm.



Application:

Available colours: FC 0004 = grey, FC 0005 = red brown



As an anti-corrosion primer and intermediate coating on steel, cast metal and sheet metal, e.g. vehicle frames, metal construction, bridge structures, metal tanks, etc.


Can also be used as transport coating in steel construction.



Surfaces:


  • Painted surfaces

  • Plain sheet steel

  • Filled surfaces

  • Not for galvanised and aluminium surfaces

  • Cannot be coated with polyester fillers

  • Can be reworked with PU sealing compounds such as Bond and Seal

  • Can be painted over with synthetic resin (alkyd) and 2-component acrylic paints

  • Not suitable for powder coatings (excessive temperatures)


Notice:

The surface must have the correct pre-treatment depending on the surface.



Permissible maximum VOC content of product category 2 (e) of the German Ordinance on Solvent-Based Paints and Lacquers (ChemVOC FarbV): 540 g/l


Max. VOC content of 1-component synthetic resin primer: 496 g/l
