Slitting depth can be adjusted (0 – 5 mm) to suit the respective outer jacket using the adjustment screw. Guide the blade by gently pressing with a finger at the start of each longitudinal or cross cut. Insulation is slit using slight leverage movements and at the same time pressing the serrations onto the insulation. The blade can be switched between longitudinal and circular cutting at any time. The tip of the blade must be gently pressed into the insulation when stripping middle sections.
