The surface must be free of oil, grease and other contaminants. Best adhesive results are achieved when the surfaces are cleaned with metal cleaner 7063 (art. no. 0890107063). Observe the flash-off time! For sliding parts, apply the adhesive in a circle around the outer edge of the shaft and on the inside of the hub. To ensure the adhesive is optimally spread, twist the parts together when joining. For press fit, apply the adhesive evenly to both joint surfaces and quickly join the parts together. Excessive adhesive that is pressed out of the gap between the two parts will not harden and can be removed with a dry cloth or a cloth saturated with acetone cleaner (art. no. 0893460).
